Is Obsidian a blue color???

I just got back from the Lexus dealer and they had a dark blue in the showroom. That color is really nice.

I want either that dark blue color or starfire pearl.

And the difference between the two blacks will not be noticed to the average joe. Obsidian is suppose to be lex's blackest black from what I've heard.
I'm not sure if you will notice a difference if you had the two next to each other. Of course those two cars would need to have the same detail job in order to make sure it wasn't because one ower takes care of one car "better".
