Default Comment: Front license plate

What do you guys think about this front license plate? I made it myself with a black plexiglass and a lexus emblem.

that looks pretty nice! good job. Is the lexus logo the standard one from the rear of the car?

I would just take the whole front plate off since you are in CA and already running illegal with that setup

Yeah, the lexus logo are just the one from the rear.

I know it is illegal to not having the front license plate on, but I wouldn't do this mod if the dealer didn't mount the license bracket onto the bumper in the first place, so I don't have a choice here.

I custom made this plexiglass so it will overlap the entire bracket area, because if you put the regular standard size license plate onto the bracket, it will have two black section of the bracket showing on each side of the license plate since both are in different shape and size.

I would prefer plugging the holes with puddy and touch-up paint over that.

I like it... but as long as you like it is the most important thing!

Personally, I don't see much sense in putting a plate on the front other than the standard state issued license plate. If you are going plateless, ie. illegal, I'd just pay the money to have the holes filled and the bumper painted. If you are going illegal you might as well do it right.

That is a nice plate, have to think about that if I ever get the IS (to accompany my RX) when I get back to the states.

He's doing it since the dealer already drilled the holes, so it'll give it a better look than the front license plate.

I rather not have anything at all attached to my front bumper. I told the dealer not to drill any holes in mine before delivery.
