Not sure if anyone is interested...but i have found some part #'s for the IS250 in the TRD catalogues.

17801-GX200 - Sports Air filter
Quote: A sports air filter born from racing engine development technology
An air filter that delivers the most basic, critical functions of ingesting air, removing dust, and supplying fresh air to the engine. By modifying the technology used in racing engines, running under the harshest conditions and putting the results to work in a commercial product, the TRD Sports Air Filter has achieved the smooth air intake and cleaning effects demanded by high-rev engines

90915-SP030 - Oil Filter Element
Quote: This oil filter achieves high filtration efficiency, reducing compression loss, and it exhibits high engine protection characteristics by helping to smooth engine oil circulation and providing excellent impurity filtering characteristics. The race-car type backup net prevents deformation and damage of the filter layer, while achieving high durability under the harshest of conditions. It is also used in the Altezza engine, which competes in Super-Endurance N Plus Class races.

$93 and $54 for an air and oil filter? WOW, no thanks... Hopefully they'll get a bit cheaper if/when they reach the states.

aye...them apples worth a pretty penny! lol

they cost 2x stock lexus/toyota parts...but we are talking retail prices tho

In any case, i am not a fan of oil impregnated filters like the K&n drop in's but it would be damn interesting to see if there are any marked performance differences between TRD/K&N/Blitz etc etc. I suspect not!

Specialty air filters rarely add to performance. Most do more harm than good.

TRD parts are not recognized as correct replacement parts and may effect a warranty.

And just who made up those charts ...

Very true!

well...i figured if there was another company that could make performance stuff for toyota/lexus, it would be one that was owned by toyota. It would be kinda funny if lexus voided your warranty or stated the part damaged the car when it was the parent company that made it!
