I'm looking on the L-Tuned Parts store, and there are two TRD air filters for the GS300 (2002) - Japan & USA.
The price difference is approx $10.
Can anyone tell me if there is any difference other than price?
Thanks

TRD's filters are designed like the K&N filters... A cotton gauze pad with filter oil sprayed on it. The filter oil has a tendency to migrate into the intake sensors (MAF), some say causing premature failure.
I have this filter design, the K&N, and found installing it gave no increase in power or efficiency. I went back to the dry, paper design. It filters better the the oil gauze design, confirmed by a check of the impurities in the oil.

The TRD Japan filter is made in Japan, the TRD USA filter is sourced/made in USA.
TRD USA (owned by Toyota USA) and TRD Japan are different companies.
Performance wise ... i don't know which one is better.
