thanks guys, any feedback on the high power v-leds? bright enough for the puddle lights? By the way thanks so much for the tip on aerotect ultimax! I'm loving the vinyls... will post pics soon. If i got blue overlays on the headlights are they still street legal?
i replied about the high power leds in the other post... perhaps a mod can consolidate these 2 threads?
as for the blue overlays on the headlights... i don't think they're street legal... not 100% sure tho.

the problem most people have with the puddle lamps (stock or LED) is not whether the bulbs are bright enough, but that they come on too late. By the time the lamps are fully on, you are already in the car, making the puddle lamps practically useless. The only exeception is when you unlock the door from a distance, using the remote; but that defeats the purpose of keyless entry.
