Default Problem with My IS250 with 5000 miles

My IS250 has about 5000 miles on it. Recently, I had a weird problem. I stopped at the traffic light with foot on the brake padel. The car was raddling forward and backward like I was stepping on the brake and gas padel at the same time. The RPM was up and down in the 500~1000 range. Does anybody have this situation before? Or anybody knows what happened? It happened twice on me. Please help.

Take it to the closest Lexus dealership and ask them to check.

did you have aftermarket air filter? If you do, it might be oil contamination on the MAF sensor. Loose lambda sensor can do the same thing.

Thanks for the advice, Vlkcheng. Everything on the car is original. No aftermarket. So, I guess that I have to wait until it does that again, then take it to the dealership.

Hummm...

Thought I was the only one having this problem.

I own a IS-350 and sometimes it sort of wants to turn off revving between the 500~1000rpm.

It's totally weird. I'm taking mine to the dealership ASAP!!!

No aftermarket parts either...

Any clues???

Weird, I had the same problem last week at a stop light. I put it in N and rev-ed it a little bit and it was fine again. I have about 5600 miles on my AWD so far, if it happens again, I'm bringing it to the dealer.

It seems like that I'm not the only one who has this problem. I want to take it to the dealership, but I know that they will not be able to duplicate the problem. Because it only happens once in a while. I really don't know what to do. If any of you take the car to the dealership, and they can find the problem. Please let me know. Thanks

was your engine warmed up at the time? Was it cold outside when this happened?

Lexus service Manager,
I have a 99 GS300 for 7 years and 03 RX300 for 3 years. I never had same problem before. Until this "Brand New" 06 IS250. Why?
