Lightbulb IS250 HID kit

I found the HID kit on the ebay. It is MTEC which is made in Japan. Has anyone tried it before? Any suggestions?

Why not just buy the 4300 Xenondepot kit for 339. The different in price is due to the bulbs and ballast that each company use. I dont think XD make more money because their kits are more expensive. Put in extra money and save the troubles.

agreed, I have the 4300K xenon depot and love how it turned out. The bulbs are real phillips bulbs and the ballast says phillips on it as well. Cables were all wrapped up and the instrustions were pretty clear. I used both the included instrustions and the DIY guides from CL as well for visual aids.

Install wasn't too bad, the only annoying part is getting the stock air box removed to you have some room in the engine bay to work with.

good luck with either kit, people have reported success with both!

Yes, I have MTEC. It is made in Taiwan, not Japan. I'm satisfied with it's performance. I have the 6000K which is bluish. If you don't like blue, I suggest getting 4300K.

i think mtec kit are not worth it. I got my kit from www.xenonhidconversionkit.com for my is250 2009 and the kit work perfectly till today. I got the slim ballast 55w hid kit 6000k and my car look 100% original. its been 2 years now and the kit is still really good. Identical to day 1.
