there you go guys-- I found this on e90 forum on how to make your own custom angel eyes! Very detailed description on the materials and seems real easy! Try it at your own will.

i made a pair of those and it was the worst diy i have ever done. it doesnt even light the ring evenly.

The 1IS's brake lights got ripped by aftermarket accessory makers, as well as other car manufacturers--it's a sign of successful design. Angel eye is similarly a beautiful feature. Some people like shark fins, to each his own. I wouldn't mind having it on my IS, except the installation is so troublesome and requires baking the whole headlight assembly.

well said, and i COMPLETELY agree

yes, it is currently a bmw original, but the bottom line is it's a nice feature that would look good on just about any car
