Hey does anyone know how to get teh scrolling text messages for the radio stations to stay on the IS 350....Because I have to push text everytime a new song comes on, and I know that on some other cars (also Lexus') it stays, how can I make it stay? And also on the IS there is a feature that makes the volume louder when the cabin noise gets louder, correct?

 

Yup, there is.

It's called Automatic Sound Levelizer (ASL).

"ASL is a feature that automatically compensates for ambient sound (wind noise if a window is lowered, increased traffic, etc.) by raising the volume to maintain pre-set levels regardless of the increased amount of external sound coming into the cabin. Once the external sound has gone, ASL automatically lowers the volume back to the original level."

 

Dont know about you, but I have the Nav... and the scrolling messages scroll (well, not really scroll, but flash kinda) for each song and shows the radio station name. I dont have to push anything.... dont know if its different for non-nav.

 

I have to push the Text button on the RX400h (has navigation but a seperate display for audio)... And for the LS430 Ultra, in the backseat it scrolls automatically... I would like to know how to make it display automatically, if at all possible too...
