BTW, I just raised my OEM halogen headlights a little and it made a huge difference. The last two cars I've bought have had the headlights 'way too low!
So now I'm not in a hurry to do the HID conversion.
Okay, not to hijack this thread, but how good a compromise are PIAA's as opposed to going all the way to xenons?
My dealer tells me PIAA's would triple the light output of my stock halogens and be a lot simpler.
Any commments on that claim?
Most of the PIAA's will give you a little more output as long as you don't go too crazy with the color(stick to there 4000K extreme whites). They are actually the same wattage as stock but claim to give the same output as a higher wattage.
There are some bulbs out there that are actually 70 watts (double stock) and those are the ones you have to watch out for in terms of damaging the wiring.

Thanks, Al. I've driven behind xenons in my last 5 cars, so going back to halogens doesn't excite me. But as I said above, I raised mine last night and they suddenly do a much better job ... especially with the fogs on.
I'll play with this for awhile and do the xenondepot conversion if I'm not happy with the OEM's.
