If you got the LEDs where I think you got them, the double ended ones are known to blow out early but the other ones should be fine. I'm thinking of doing the same with my maplights and door courtesy lights (maybe licence plate lights but it's a tight fit so I heard)

Great Post! I'm going to change out the dome lights. I would do the puddle lights but I suck at stuff like this and I am not going to risk breaking the mirrors.

Where do I get the LED lights for the domes and what do I ask for? I know nothing about bulbs I usually just take in the burnt out one and show the salesman. But since I am getting a new type of bulb that might not work.....

just so you guys are aware, those pictures are VERY decieving.

those LED's will NOT give off much light, and they will not fill out like the way you see in the pictures. you will see the shape of the LED's when they light up and will give off a very small amount of light. i think most of you who are going to do this are gonig to be disappointed because this is mostly just for look than it is for function.

You're thinking of xenons.

LEDs and xenons - two very different things.

I think this is a great mod. Great write up as well.

I did the interior light mods before this thread and the LED lights give out a great amount of light, especially in the back. Plus it looks so much better than before.

the 194s for the puddle lamps are wedge bulbs right? the same as the parking light bulbs? i have an extra set of those (actually a 6 led refractor) sitting at my house so i think i may swap them out today...maybe i'll stop and get the dome light bulbs on the way home too i'll def post some pics when i'm done
