Default Is250awd

i got a final price w/ taxes and other fees of 35,318. the msrp of the car is 35,069. the car price was 32,900, but the taxes and fees pushed it to the 35,318 price. I dont know if this is a good deal. if the car before everything else is 32,900 does that mean i got 2,169 off msrp or does the "i got so and so off msrp" include taxes etc. he'd be willing to take off a couple hundred more, but thats it and it would probably be max of 350/400.

i'll try other dealers, suggestions? i live in in north jersey and i went to the warnock lexus.

What package does it come with? Just to let you know that you can't avoid paying the tax.
I paid $3xxx tax on my IS350.

standard base awd, i really dont want anything else. i know i cant avoid the tax. i'm confused whether when people say they got a car off the msrp price mean before the fees/tax or at the end bc in that case, they would be getting the same car for much much less.

Unless they use a term like "out-the-door price", they are talking about the price before tax and registration fees.

Usually when I say I got $$ off msrp, it means the price before all those docs fees, tax and stuffs. The dealers are smart that they know they could give you a certain $ off msrp and you will still end up paying full msrp after everything is calculated and they still make thousands for profit. Take that as a reality We always lose

I'm not sure what you are saying. Dealers don't keep or profit from taxes, title and registration fees - those are passed on to the state and DMV. The only "gotcha" with those fees is that most dealers try to add on a small ($75-$200) charge they call a "clerical fee", "administrative fee", "document runners fee" or similar, presumably to cover the cost of doing your paperwork and driving over to the DMV to pick up your plates. Even though it is preprinted on the sales order, that particular charge is negotiable.

Our local dealer here (Lexus of Towson) was giving some good lease deals on AWD's a couple months ago when I got mine. This was prolly due to the fact they were so overstocked with em, and when I was their for service the other day all 10 or so IS's on the lot were 250 AWD's.
