Anyone know where I could purchase the metalic finish center console and door pieces? Sucks that they only offer the maple color.

You can purchase the pieces but they do cost a pretty penny. Unfortunately those pieces cost about a couple hundred each since you have to do a full replacement of your center console, and power window switch plates. Unfortunately at this time there are no available aftermarket overlays to cover the Auburn Birds Eye Maple trim.

beverley auto has shown black replacemenbts for the center console, door control plates, as well as some accent covers for the side-most vents. not sure if they will be released but they've been previewed..look nice as well

 

calm down. the guy/gal asked for a recommendation and I posted a link. who's to say your suggestion is any better? why don't you quit knocking other peoples posts and stick to your own. jeesh....

 

the metallic trim pieces will interfere with your radio and nav reception.

just kidding. try to find someone that will swap pieces with you. the stick on pieces don't look that great in person. I have seen on tv, shops send out wood trim pieces to have them smoked, or darkened. I think that will look great for dark interiors.

 

You were being very helpful G35! I was looking for that link in a previous post to help the guy out also and then saw you were able to provide it. I don't see anything wrong with the Superior link. Why is it crap?

 

looks like a decent product to me also. not sure why Captain Negative doesn't like them. I know people who have used their stuff with great results.
