What does isx50 mean?
I am familiar now with what 2IS is (ha)...Just trying to keep up!

it usually means the writer is referring to both the 250 and the 350 at the same time and wanted to save some keystrokes.

isx50 is sometimes used to generically refer to all models of the IS instead of writing each model out. The "x" is either a "3" or "2."

I was wondering the same thing for the longest time so instead of getting flamed for creating a thread, I asked a moderator on here and he explained it to me.
