I have an offer on a black/black 250 auto rwd with premium and 18s .. which is arriving in 2 weeks.

$31423 + tax and license

i emailed about 10 dealers in the so cal about the 2007, and i also read the article on my.is about the changes

the dealers were able to confirm 2007 will have obsidian etc, shark fin antenna, vsc/vdim disable, and various package changes. one aluded that hid will be "optional" seperate but in reality will be standard on all cars shipped here.. like how the premium package is not really optional here in socal for is250s.

I was also told a few dealers that cars in production now in japan will be considered 2007.

BUT.. the pricing will be MSRP at least initially at least until Jan. depending on supply demand..

which means if i wait for 3-4 month to get a 07.. say 250 auto rwd with hid and 18s and premium .. i could be looking at paying 35000 before tax and license..

what should i do.. its a really hard decision

 

Life is short.

If the car you want is available now, just get it. By the time the 07s become available people will be telling you to hold of until 08 because of some OMGXBOXHUGE option that you can't live without.

 

If you want that car, get it. There will always be something around the corner (either Lexus or its competition) that will be better. That's a reality, and that's why cars depreciate...

 

Just hold out homeboy. True its gonna be a couple extra gzz, but you might as well buy the new one when it arrives. Theres no harm in waiting, plus you can stack some extra loot while waiting. Just my opinion, but do what you think.
