Default JIC owners...

I was wondering if yours came with pillow ball mounts. I just got mine today from the my.is store and noticed that it didn't include them, so I wanted to make sure if they were included or not.

Mine did. Take some pics and let me see what they sent you.

I took a few quick pics with my camera phone. I compared what I got with what they show on JICs site and am sure that they are missing them now.

EDIT

Just got off the phone with the shop and they are going to ship me the pillow ball mounts. However, I did find the the response from JIC interesting:

I talked with JIC, who said that for the luxury car models (Lexus, Infiniti, ETC) they don't provide pillow ball mounts with the coilovers. The pillowballs provide a stiffer, rougher ride, more geared towards performance and less towards luxury.

So my question still holds for JIC owners, did you get pillow ball mounts with your coilovers?

From what I see you have pillow ball mounts. Those gold things on top of the spring are the pillow ball mounts. Unless I am way off (which I could be) I think your coilovers are fine. That is exactly the way mine looked.

Those are just the regular ruber bushing uppermounts, the pillow ball mounts have the camber plates on them for a better range of camber adjustibility. Here's a pic from JIC's site:

If that is the pillow ball mounts then I dont have them either. I'll call JIC when I get a chance. What exactly does the Pillow Ball mounts do? And Why is it good/bad to have them?

You are incorrect. Your JICs come with "Pillow Ball Mounts" but your "Pillow Ball Mounts" do not have "Adjustable Camber Plates" built in. Call JIC and ask them if the IS350 setup is supposed to have adjustable camber plates.

Well from what JIC said, ours do not come with pillow ball mounts even though they show it on there site. I'm just assuming that the camber plates is also included with the pillowball mounts since they are pictured on their site. On my last car, I had gotten camber plates with the mounts also. But anyways, JIC said that they're willing to ship me the pillowball mounts, since they show that it's included on their site, so I'll see if they also come with the camber plates.

Some mounts include them, some don't. It depends on the application. The 1G/2G/3G eclipse are all different, for example. Sometimes they include the camber adjustment plate, sometimes it's a solid mount, as you've shown.

You have everything you are supose to have, Cars with multilink suspension like our ISX50's can't adjust camber by using the top of the spring perch. Only cars that have Struts aka FWD cars or cheaper RWD cars use that type of suspension.

Thanks for the responses guys, looks like I got everything I need. Guess I was too used to the struts on my RSX, thought it was the same deal.

flyfl1pguy I got it for 1750 shipped from the my.is store but I believe I got the last set.
