Hi,

Since Sirius is still not available and it 750$, I thought I'd try my starmate replay unit. What I found is that this one fits perfectly in the ashtray opening. So I took the front console (shifter area) apart and ran my antenna cable through a hole under the ashtray. Now I need the power and aux wire.

I read the post on how to get the radio apart-that was excellent.

But what I need is to access the power and aux lines going into the back of the center console. So far that isn't easy, and I don't want to break anything. For the power, I also need a noise filter. I can hear engine noise when on 12V from the cig lighter, so I hear these can make that go away. Then all I need is the aux wire from under the back of the console and I am all set.

Also, If anyone has removed the back seat, I'd be interested to hear.
