Default Getting my 2IS this week!!

Now I know there are a million of these posts on here, but my excitement led to another thread to add to the overabundance I'm in the Philadelphia area and test drove my first IS350 last week at Chester Springs Lexus - I highly reccomend this dealerhship to you all who are local. Very nice, knowledegable sales staff, extremely relaxed enviroment, etc. After driving the car, I abosulely loved it. But, I was pretty set on the ML/Nav/Sport 350 in either Crystal white or Glacier Frost. As most of you have discovered, this car is non-existant in the northeast region. After several days of calling around I located a GF/black 350 with ML/Nav/Sport package at Palm Springs Lexus in Florida. I wound up closing the deal and putting a deposit on the car after they accepted my offer I'm flying in on Wednesday to check out the car and finalize the paperwork. I can't wait!!!

Wow! You must really be an enthusiast to fly to FL and pick up your car. I guess you can say - getting back is half the fun. That's if you're driving it back. If you are driving it back, make sure you break it in properly. I know some people say there is no break in period, but it couldn't hurt. How far from FL to PA?

Very nice combo, ive been trying to get a crystal white 350 with ML/Sport with Grey interior, for 3 months and its impossible. so now i am looking for the same car with Black int. and that is a challenge too, i can pick up that car all day long around here with tan int. I dont know why All of the white is350s have tan around here. congrats on your new ride!

As you guys could probably assume, I'm very excited to see the car this week!! I'm not actually driving it back, but I did get a very good price from the dealership of $650.00 to ship it from South Florida to my doorstep, which is right outside of Philadelphia. If I could get the extra time off work I would have probably driven it home

Slightly off topic - What is considered a proper "break in" for these cars?

Yeah, do a Search. You'll find people on both sides of the debate. You'll also find some info in your manual...
