Cool Commute comfort

I was wondering if anyone here has a long commute to work or school and how comfortable the car is?

My commute is a little over 1 hour each way and all highway driving.

btw, love the forum have been drooling everytime I see you guys post new pics! Can't wait to get my Lex!!!

I drive about 1 to 1 1/2 Hours each day.

The ride is very very comfortable. You will enjoy it. Also what car are you coming from?

Extremely comfortable. The ride is very smooth, extremely quiet, and the heat/ventilated seats are nice.

36 miles each way, 90% highway. Ride is acceptable with sport package and 18s, downright comfy with standard suspension and 17s.

Hey Bounce, you were able to find an IS. Which dealer did you eventually go to? Congrats on the new car. Looking at your sig, I know what you mean, waiting sucks.

80 miles a day for me, and I love the comforts of the car (lux, not sport). My coworker begs me to drive, so she can watch DVDs on the nav...

About 55 miles a day 90% highway with the sports package. No complaints here. The seats are perfectly cushioned.

Boston Daily. Morning/Evening Rush. The IS250 is absolute perfection for commuting. Don't get to hit the sweet spot of the IS250 powerplant enough unfortunately(40-70 mph).

It is sure nice to know that I am not the only one with a long commute (~35 miles each way). I am riding on 19's w/the sport suspension and it is not bad. Certainly not a plush ride by any means, but tolerable.

Kloh7, I have only been to the Lexus dealer upstate NY. I havent bought the car yet as I'm waiting on the 07 pricing. The dealer did slip up and say that he was offereing about 1500 off. So hoping to start with that discount and see what I can get...
