I was on the freeway the other day, came up behind a shiny new Camry.

It looked verryy nice from the back and side.

Then I got close and saw it was actually an ES350 hahahahahahaha.

And yet I'd never buy an ES.

It may have horsepower on the IS, but that's about it from a performance standpoint. It certainly isn't fun to drive.

I would take the 250 as well. Though the newer ES does look pretty decent

I never would have considered the ES before, but now they're finally making the looks compatible with the other boss Lex models. That would be the type of car I would get if I got the white picket fence, the dog, cat and 2.5 children. Oh yeah, and the hubby.

When they make the ES rear wheel drive, then I might look at the car. But as is, keep it.

New ES looks pretty good. Never liked the older model and on top of that they stuck in a 270hp engine. Not too shabby if you ask me, but the style is more for when I get a tad older.

The ES will never be rear-drive.

That's what the IS and (to a lesser extent) the GS are for. The ES will remain a reskinned Camry for as long as it's offered in the Lexus lineup. There's a huge profit margin for Toyota by selling what's essentially a Toyota underneath at Lexus price points.
