Yes this is correct . . . yesterday mine hit port and the salesman emailed me the spec/detail sheet on the car . . . stating what options, etc about the car, VIN and all.

 

Called Lexus of Jax today and was told that the car ordered directly before mine has a port date of 6/28.

He therefore thinks that it should come shortly thereafter (1st week of July).

We will see...

 

Five months. Ok so I rounded up, it was actually Four months and 27+- days.

 

Ordered Black/Sterling, ML,LT on 4-18-2006. Went in 6-7 - 2006 to look at others colors since they could not tell me when mine would be shipped. They said at first it would be 35 days or so which I knew was not true but they were hopeing they would find one. Liked the silver so said I would take Silver with either Black or Sterling. They called 6-10-2006 and found black/black comming in. I said no. 2 hours later there was a Silver/Black and I said yes as long as it was straight off the ship. Will be here last week of JUne.

 

Given a port date of 7/10!

 

We got into a unique "bind". We wanted an IS350 with JUST the Lux package and were told all remaining 06s would be built with NAV and Levinson to go with the Lux, not Lux only, so we had to "special" order, and b/c we're at the end of the model year, we went '07. So...we're waiting till Oct for delivery.

 

Any idea when this was decided by Lexus? Does anyone else know about this (i.e. ordered just a Lux package and NAV/ML was included at delivery)?

 

I ordered a SGM 250AWD w/ML, Nav, Lux, Parking Assist (he threw in the "popular accessory package") on 3/18. My dealer notified me it'll be in the lot anytime between 7/5 - 7/17.

 

I waited about 4 months for my white 350 w/ blk int, sports pkg, NAV/ML. Dealer gave me an estimate of 3 months but it got delayed for a week or two.
