unique suspension problem...
I had subwoofers installed in my car as seen in a previous thread, but i had a problem. The weight of the system dropped my car down way to low, and the front end is stock and that looks really bad. I didn't kow if anyone could direct me to a solution, the only thing i've thought about, is having steel plates put in, but i don't want to do that. Any suggestions?
Note-I know some of you are against subwoofers but how bout we just let that go for now...

order some lowering springs and just use the fronts? if you have that much weight for subs it probably doesnt matter how well it handles. this would probably cheapest/easiest solution. another thing you could do is custom order higher spring rates for the rear, maybe ground control can set something up for you.
Well the market isnt that big right now, or I would say try and find just a set of front springs (eibach, etc) on ebay or something. I guess the only thing I could think of would be to order a spring set of only use the fronts, I bet after a while someone might pick up the rears from you, for some reason or another.

they don't make a "higher spring set" or i would have done that already

I had them in my mustang rear after I dropped in a Cobra IRS to help launch at the strip.

Don't know if you have the sport model or not, but if not I believe, all though I'm not sure, the spring rates are different, resulting in a slight drop from stock height. I wouldn't be suprised if some of those on this board that have gone to coilovers or the Eibach's started out w/ the Sport model and may have "used" front sport springs for sale for relatively cheap. Ask around.

Or the blue ones on this site

Lots of places sell em.
Basically they are just a lil plastic rubber tube that goes into the middle of your spring, you fill it up with air, and it'll help raise the rear end. They really work.

I don't know if any company will do that for the IS but they are available.
