Was there any sign of how they broke into your ride? Smash the window or get in through the door. Did the alarm wake you up, or when you went out to your car you noticed?

Why did you leave those items in the car? Were they in plain sight?......Sorry about that.

The police just came and took a police report. All those items were either in my glove box or inside my center armrest, so you couldn't see it from just standing outside. It is kinda strange too, both of the key were in my house, the door was locked, alarm didn't went off, we didn't notice it until my brother was leaving to work this morning and my car door was wide opened. Damn..... I lost over a $1000 dollars of stuff this morning......

Yes, it could of been worst, lucky they didn't do anything to my interior and my navi system..... and I think they were in a rush, so they didn't open my trunk either..... Our area is getting worst and worst, this is not the first time happening to us already, this also happened to my brother's Toyota Matrix, same situation, door wide opened, things were gone...... And one time was even worst, broke the two small window on the Mazda Miata and they took our hard top with a truck or something.......

That sucks.

We park the Lexus in the garage but our Maxima sits in the driveway of my house. I don't worry about it though.

Have anyone install a two-way alarm or LoJack to their car?

if this is a chronic problem in your area, I would put some camera's outside to monitor the driveway.
