Part of why everyone answering the poll is so young is not because the IS attracts young people, but because internet discussions groups attract young people. According to Lexus, the average ago of an IS buyer is 39, whereas the average age based on the poll would be mid- to late-20s. 39 is still young - the average of a Lexus buyer overall is 59.
BTW I'm 26, got the car for myself for my 26th bday last November. Happy birthday to me.
EDIT: Just realized another difference, 39 is the average age for the BUYER, but the poll here is the average age for the DRIVER. So we're going to get a younger number because the people driving are often younger than the people buying - ie anyone whose daddy/rich uncle/sugar momma etc bought it for them.

Wow. I'm 39, got my IS 250 last wk, Black/Black.
First time Lexus buyer and loving it.
I too wanted the better gas mileage, and it was hard especially after test driving the 350.
Congrats to all the very young ones who own the car. Kudos.
BTW, I'm a doc, and the car makes me feel really young again.

38. for a while I didn't like Lexus, I thought they were too conservative and for older folks. I think I was seeing too many ES and LSs. I love the IS and the GS though. I took notice of the IS last New year when I saw a guy pull up in one at my hotel. Either I like their new style or I'm just getting older.. ;-)
