Today while driving in the rain, the wipers started acting funny while in rain sensing mode, until they finally just completely stopped in the middle of the windshield. I moved the wiper stalk to low/hi and they resumed operation as normal, but when going back to "auto" mode they would only work for 30 seconds or so until the same thing happened again.

Has anyone had this happen to them? Any ideas on how to fix it?
