With the number of CL members using AeroTect with good results, I think they are worth the drive. Like tints, there are a variety of films out there but what you really want is an experienced installer who has proven that he can do great work.

I am currently in Garden Grove and am driving out there tomorrow to get some work done.

AeroTect does great work. Many CL members AND moderators go to them. Francisco is the best. Be sure to mention "Club Lexus" for special pricing and $50 gas card!

Default Aero tech

Would you mind posting the contact info for Aero Tech. I need to get a clear bra on my car asap. Thanks. I'm in the orange county area but will drive a reasonable distance. Thanks so much.

AeroTect

866.388.AERO

They're in LaVerne/Pomona city line off 10 frwy.

Give them a call for appointment/directions.

And welcome to Club Lexus!

What? We have special pricing? I will have to remind him tomorrow, although I am not getting my GS done.

I can but you don't have to wait. You can do a quick search and find that many members here have gone there and have been happy with them.

I have been wondering where to go in my area and this site gave me quite a few local choices. Do you think it matters much whether the are XPEL Licensed Dealers or just XPEL Affiliated Dealers? I know I need to see what the company looks like, but I am wondering more for warranty sake.

Quick question (I know...probably asked before): Can you take the clear bra off at a later time if you want? I was looking at XPEL and it is warranted by 3M for 5 years....but what about after that? Can it be removed and a new one installed?
Thanks.

If the paint is cured (if you have factory paint, by the time the car gets to you, the paint should be ), you can remove and replace the film.

As for XPel, they probably warrant the film because 3M warrants the film. Having an XPel dealer does not always guarantee good work. It is the installer. I went to and Xpel installer and although he was good enough, I was not thrilled with the job. Franciso has proven that he is a good installer (based on references from people I know) and that is good enough for me whether he is licensed, affiliated, or no relation to XPel. ( I did not even check.) Most good installers/shop will stand behind their work anyway.

Aerotect is a licensed dealer/distributor of XPel cut products. It doesn't really matter if an installer is XPel licensed or not. It all comes down to the installer and how well the material is applied to your vehicle. Xpel basically provides pre-cut template designs for most vehicle makes through their computer system.

3M warrants the film from defect for that amount of time. Now if the dealer installs it incorrectly or does a sloppy job, that is exluded from the 3M warranty.

LXOGOOD (GS Mod) and myself were one of the first CL members to have clear bra installed by AeroTect.

Here's my custom Venture Tape install on my IS300 just over 2 years ago at their old hangar at the El Monte Airport:
