Question Front Lip...HELP!!

grrr..so my mom and i were installing the front lip to my 250awd..we cut the holes and did everything correctly but for some reason we cannot get the clips to lock in therefore creating a gap on the bend where the adhesive is on both sides..did anyone else have a problem like this when installing the front lip? or am i just "special"?
here are a couple pics

Hey Cat, long time no see.
I got that problem too on my front lip. What I did was using a heat gun and heat it up a lil bit ( becareful you could damage the paint if it's too hot) , Then use a strong force to push it in. Remember to remove the double side tape before you push the front lip in place. You will need a thick glove to avoid burn.
Good luck, Tim

Hey Cathafer I am not sure why you are having that problem or a fix to it -- because I dont have the lip, but if you can't find a solution you can try buying one of those double-sided tapes (3M) and make the part stick. If you get the right tape it's really strong and it will hold it for good. Good luck.
