Default Stolen Emblem

I just washed my IS250 Saturday evening and didn't drive anywhere after that. Had it parked in the open garage of our townhouse. Then today when I was backing out of my stall, my wife motioned me to stop and come outside to the trunk. Someone popped the "L" emblem off my trunk. Ain't that a B!#@H!! Not only that but there are some dings in the paint where they pryed it off. What the hell are they gonna do with the symbol?! Anyone got any suggestions on how to keep the emblem put after I get the new one. Any way to thread the pegs of the emblem and wrench them down?

Aww, that sucks, sorry to hear that. It was just a matter of time before that happened to one of us. Personally, I wouldn't want it on that tight, that will just be more scratches and dents cuz they have to try harder to get it off the next time.

maybe they need it to spell " L " osers.

Next time run a wire from the L straight to your battery so when they try to take your emblem again, they'll get a little something else.

As others have said, attaching the replacement emblem more firmly will just cause more body damage should anyone else try to get it off.

I'd suggest that you go to the next homeowners association meeting and lobby for the installation of security cameras.

I hate those f*(&kers!

I got my emblem stolen once, I REALLY REALLY wish I caught him in the act. I was so pissed off.

The only thing that guy would be seeing is the end of my baton stick.

That is a good point about the damage done the next time someone tries to take the emblem. I will bring up the issue about security cameras. Oh, and yes the baton stick is a very good idea.

Wow that sucks I had that happen to me on another car that I had same exact thing I think they used a screwdriver to pry it off because it dented the trunk. By the way were you thinking about lowering your car ?? if you are going to lower it I would really like to see your car in person after you lower it because the offset that you have is almost the same as mine. Maybe we can take some pictures of both of our cars.

Maybe someone de-badged and threw them out, then needed to boost some new ones when they realized no one could tell they had a Lexus.

Check on the front of all the bicycles in your neighborhood, there may be a de-badged Huffy riding around on the first Lexus bicycle!

Hey All,

New to the forum. Just got my number 3 stolen off the back of my IS350. Anyone know where to get a replacement in Los Angeles area? Called the dealer and they told me I had to buy the whole set and not just the '3' for 70 bux!!

Thanks
