will someone please give me a link or something to where I can read about the different types of tint. are these all different types of tint or just different companies? I want a nice QUALITY tint job . . . im in KY

 

Westchester County NY, got quoted $270 for Llumar 15% or 35%.

 

The shops around here have llumar and solar guard tint . . . I was wanting to get formula one pinnacle though. What would you all suggest about those? Should I go with llumar or order some pinnacle and have it installed? (if i can do that)

 

I have taken about 5 cars to Made in the shade.
I believe Tim is the guy that did it. It's a small garage (the last time I visit was 2 years ago).

Yea, Tim is the guy. I called and spoke to him yesterday. Very friendly.
Asked to see if I can make an appointment tomorrow(sat) but said it was
full but told me to call in the morning to see if he can squeeze me in.
He originally quoted me $150 but I asked for $130 but he said the lowest is $150
but told me to come in so I suppose we can negotiate a bit.... Hope that I can
get my windows tinted tomorrow as I wanna do it and forget about it

 

anyone from hawaii can give me a pm if you need some super good quality tint job with solar tint...asked the guy the difference and he says ceramic blah blah and all those others are all the same. anyways 110 all the way around 13% cherry black =P will post pics when i actually finish putting my mods on. =/

 

$260 for 15% Llumar all the way around here in Hawaii. The guy told me after it was finished that usually for illegal tint he charges $50 more but since I was quoted 260 he will stick to that.
