Wouldn't it be better for you to tell us where YOU live so we can make recommendations of where to go locally and what you are getting for your money.
Prices vary for many reasons, both due to location, type of tint, any warranty offered and workmanship.
I don't see how a price quote from someone in Virginia can do you any good, with you living out here in Cali.
Please let us know what region you are in Cali.

i worked at a tint shop in southern california.
anyways, do not get your car tinted at a dealership. all they do is charge you 400-500, and they take it to a local tint shop that charges them under $200. quick way to make some extra bucks!
tint prices were $160 for sedans, and $130 for coupes. It also varies by your specific car, and the type of film you want. Quantum (reflective) film costs $30-40 more, and cheaper film (johnson) may cost only $100 for sedans. The film that we normally use is HP Charcoal made by solargard.
Johnson film fades and turns purple after 2 years or so. Solargard film lasts much longer, hence the extra $$$ on the film. 3M also makes high quality film. So before you get your car tinted, ask them what kind of film they use. That might explain the difference in prices.

I got a quote of $275 for 35% in all windows but the front windsheild, from "Top of the Line" Tinting Shop off of Rt 46 in NJ.... they planned to use 3M tint.... I thought that the price was a bit high so I simply havent gotten around to it yet.

$900+tax for Formula 1 ceramic 35% and a clear bra (extended hood, bumper, lower lip, and mirrors). I think they charged $299 for the tint and $599 for the bra installed.

I paid $100 for all windows except the front.
They usually charge people they dont know about $120, no questions asked.
The place is located in Norwalk. Need more info PM and i'll let you know.

I think I have been there too. Got my dad's camry tinted there a couple years ago. The tint still looks good and you cant beat the price. But I would go with Made in the Shade in Cypress because of the lifetime warranty.Originally Posted by t0e

He might try to charge you a bit more but just be firm and you can get it for around 125.
I dont have the number for the place in Norwalk but I think its on Pioneer near Rosecrans.
