Interior Color
Hey Folks -
So finding the external / interior color combination I have in mind is proving difficult... I love the way a dark interior looks with the rich reddish luxury wood, but seems to be hard to find. I also thought it would be better since I have a dog, and hair, etc might not show up as much... but am I wrong?
What do you guys think about the long-term holdup of a cashmere vs. grey vs. black interior?
Thanks,
M

Cashmere (light brown) and grey interiors were easier to get dirty, especially floormats. The leather also soaks up dirt from greasy hands or heads.
Black interiors were easier to clean but you do notice imperfections a bit more when a "dull" black contrasts with a "shiny" black.

look at an IS with the dull black interior. then look at it with sterling or cashmere. there is no comparison. thats why I chose cashmere. sterling is tolerable. black is lame. why are you so worried about cleaning leather? its not like its nasty cloth or velour.
Good Call Bichon! I'm sure my Dog's Claws would do a number on the Wood Grain, based on others experiences with it scratching so easy.
Even the leather worries me, as it can get scratched by the dog easy.
I have German Shorthair Pointers, and they will be traveling at times in the car, so I'll be putting blankets or sheets down in the back and they won't be near the Wood Console.

I saw that thing someone posted a while back in their 2IS, a dog back seat hammock - that's definitely going in.
I'm not as worried about cleaning leather as I am just the crud that gets on floormats, carpet, etc... I also remember someone reading that the tan leather just doesn't age well... any truth to that?
Anyone have some good interior cashmere pictures they can point me to?
Thanks for all the replies!
