I got the nav and I definitely like it. It's not just the fact that it's nav, but it integrates a everything into the touchscreen (which people are always amazed at). Plus, you get the back-up cam (helpful for tight parking lot aisles).

I like to think of it as a package, which helps justify it for me. That and the nav tells me when I'm approaching the turn (I hate trying to remember at what # of miles on my odometer I'm expected to reach the next turn).

Yes gas prices are crazy nowadays, but I think I would have probably regretted it if I got the 250. The one thing I really wanted when I walked in the dealership was the Nav. The ML sound system is really nice, but was content with just the nav alone. Well, as luck would have it, the dealer discounted the ML system, so technically got the ML system thrown in for free.

I deff miss not having the NAVIGATION.

BUT!!!! If i had to pick NAV is250 or Base 350.

Plain and simple 350 is more fun, and you can add all this later.

BUT!!! If you can, please wait and get is350 with NAV and ML.

Yeah, the back-up cam is quite helpful, especially with the IS' high belt line.

Default Get the 350

What Casey said. Power is always better than fluff. As`far as gas mileage, I drove about 365 miles to a beach destination last week, and got 32.5 MPG. That was with AC on, kept it under 70mph. I could go faster and in some places I had to. The motor is nowhere near being broke in (1650 miles) and it can get 32 mpg! Coming home I got 31mpg. I read a map, my wife is also my navigator. Besides, a lot of times we don't know where were going. Were just out there riding around and loving it. We chose the Lux package. Didn't need the nav and the stock stereo is very nice. It hasn't wigged out either
Didn't I see somewhere the non-ML system is a Pioneer? Get the wheel upgrade.
Heck, even the Dunlop tires are very good in the rain.
Only thing we worry about is someone opening a car door into the side of it . You will too once you see the car in your driveway. good luck
