Default New car -SGM anodized emblems

About 2 weeks ago I went to see the is 350 and they had a SGM that came in the day before (1 of 3, still wrapped!)- so had to do it- traded in a beemer- 325 convert. with electrical gremlins, and am I a happy camper- what a car! Hats off to Lexus on this one!

Had the window tint and anodized emblems put on- will try to post pics...

Been reading here and learning- so thanks for a great site!

Nice butt!!... I meant the IS's butt. The SGM color looks very similar to the Flint Mica color Lexus has on its other models (i.e., the RX). Haven't seen the two colors side-by-side yet!!

Beautiful pictures, beautiful car! That scenery looks look the scenery I pass when I take the Amtrak from Los Angeles to San Diego, and those train tracks look like the ones I ride on. That isn't around Escondido is it?

You have great taste. Did you buy yours from Lexus Carlsbad? I like the black pearl emblems. Enjoy the car and wecome!

O.K. in my haste to post my pics I called the emblems trim!

As far as the anodized rather than black pearl, thats what the dealer refered to them as. So you see I continue to learn from you all!

KNICH, you are good! It is indeed the tracks you ride to San Diego from LA... right around Encinitas- sharp eye!

DAGS, Thanks for the welcome- I see we share the same taste! I settled for what they had on the spot- premium, but black interior as well. Got it at Bob Baker in El Cajon. Nice people/dealership to do business with, plus they happened to get 3 IS350's in that one Saturday!

it probably is anodized, have to plate that color on it, and anodizing is one method

Were those emblem already on it or did you get from the accessory shop at Baker?

I bought mine from Carlsbad and couldn't be happier. I only got $500 off, but my 330i was returned to BMW almost a month before my car was to be delivered and they gave me an ES330 to drive for free.

It is nice to have great dealerships here... That sure was cool of them giving you a car for that time between cars! Baker delivered the car after tinting/emblems to my house so I wouldn't have to drive back to El Cajon- things like that keep loyal customers that for sure.

So yes, had the emblems put on by Baker- bought them at their shop.
