Yes, there is a grill available for the 2IS but it's ugly as hell!!! Unless you want to "uglycize" your IS

check it out on this link: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=199552

I emailed the guys out at element114.com and asked them if they were going to make chrome stainless steel mesh grilles that are similar to the one they already offer for the GS430 and they said it's on the books to be made. The grill they have for the GS looks fairly classy and is also offered in black chrome and few other color combos. I'm waiting for that one...........Well, I'm still waiting for the car so......it doesn't matter either way.

Yeah....Roger at E114 will be making one, but not in time for the show I'm attending in 2 weeks. My car is an E114 demo car, but the kit is still being made. I do like the Blitz grill, buy my friend at Blitz can't get a hold of it. I thought there was an existing grill I could buy just for the show. Guess I'll wait.........

There is an available grill. You can find it at billetamerica.com or lextasy.com (cheaper). They're not mesh of course and I don't know exactly what you're looking for. The grills from billet america and lextasy look good to me.

I don't really like the billet grill look. The only billet grill I like is the VIP style one's. The JP grill I have on the M is so much heavier than those Trenz type grills and made much better. My JP grill alone without the frame weighs over 7 pounds !!!

I will have to get the blitz when it comes out now. I'm sure it'll be anywhere from $3-$600 because it's CF but it will make the IS look a lot meaner.

I think the Ebay grille might look better if we could see it on an actual car and not in a crappy fake image....maybe.

EVERYONE wants the blitz grill. i haven't come across someone who doesn't like it.

mainly i think we are in agreement that the fins on the stock grill is whats holding the aggressiveness of the car back.

I'm trying to make my own Blitz style grill......here's my attempt. Since my car is having the audio done right now, I thought I'd try my hand at making a custom one.

Cut the slats off the center section of the stock grill....

Mounted some stainless mesh in the middle....

Sanded, prepped, and painted stock surround and mesh....

.....still needs some carbon fiber work around the mesh and then re-assembly. I'll post completed pics next week....
