Been reading threads where people can not make up mind on which package to go with (Luxary or Sport). I been reading that it is easier to convert from a luxary package to a sports package. What are the costs of the parts for this to happen. Meaning what do you have to buy and what are the costs of each part. Just wondering if it is feasible. I admit it would be nice to get the best of both worlds with a combination of both packages. For example, the luxary of the luxary package and suspension of the sports package.

LUXURY. LUXURY!!!! you can add the sport pedals to the LUXURY package and you can probably modify your suspension but then why would you do that? the LUXURY package can be choppy because of the short wheel base but its better than the sport pkg. I suppose you can get the fake metal on your console too. some people hate the wood but there really isnt much.

I went with the Sports Package, primarily because I wanted the sports suspension and didn't want the wood trim. Plus the IS300 like pedals are cool and remind me of my old IS. I'll try to break it down off the top of my head what you would need to do for a TOTAL conversion. I know you don't want a total conversion but might as well post everything.

Convert Luxury Package to Sports Package:
- Lower Suspension
- Add Aluminum Pedals
- Replace Illuminated Scuff Plates with Aluminum Scuff Plates
- Replace Wood Trim with Metallic Plastic
- Remove Rear Sunshade

I was wondering if the suspension is the same on both the sport and luxary package? If it is, then it might just be a matter of lowering it, right?
