I found on the Lexus.jp accessories page, under safety, a remote start unit... I'm pretty sure anyway. Has anyone heard anything about this, or its availablity in the States? It's second row, left column. http://lexus.jp/models/is/spec/accessory/safety.html

It can do the starting stop of the engine from the place where it is far being remote control operation. The design which considered the smart key of standard equipment, and the fact that it has with set has the standardized impression. Also the indoor antenna seriously considered one bodily sensation of the instrument panel.

 

Carson Toyota/Lexus is working on it as we speak. We're unsure if it works with the USDM vehicles yet, or just the JDM ones. Check out this thread.

 

Ahh yes, Still EAGERLY awaiting for results from Carson.

And if it works, I hope for a groupbuy. Those things are expensive!
