Rumor has it that the upcoming IS500 is going to be coupe only

 

It looks ugly...and maybe it is a photoshop pic -.-

 

A bit too blurry to decide if it's a chop, but the overall profile looks pretty good as a conversion from the sedan to a coupe.

 

well, if you look at the other stuff on the website, you'll see similarly blurry pictures of other camoed toyota and lexus vehicles taken from the same angle, which makes me think that whoever is taking these pictures is taking it from some sort of aerial point into the toyota hq... and making this picture all the more real.

 

It might be a real photo and not a photoshop, since his other findings of the new ES with the glass roof was spot on

 

Well, if that's a real pic, then there has to be parcel shelf as a backseat, or none at all. The backseat is already cramped in the 4-door, and there looks to be very little "body" between the B- and C-pillars. So there can't be a thing back there.

Then again, it could be a chop.

 

i don't think these were taken at US HQ...my best guess would be the port...if not, Japan HQ

 

IMHO, it doesn't look like a real pic of a real car.

I would be a little disappointed if the IS coupe (if they produce one) looks so similar to the sedan . . .

No background looks that clean. It has been photoshop. I do Graphics for a living.

my guess is that since we are just staring to see producton spy shots, the debut will be at the December LA Auto Show and it will go on sale in Summer 2007

 

Can't tell much that looks cool... They must have a super zooming camera set up somewhere in a high-rise near the Lexus HQ or something. Good job they've done so far (for the ES and LS too).
