Well, I picked up my new 250 last Thursday and I LOVE IT! I previous had a TSX and was considering the BMW325i...but I'm really glad I went w/ the Lexus. The car is amazing. I've seen a lot of people saying to go w/ the 350 instead, but I think the 250 has enough power for my driving.

Anyway, just wanted to share the good news and ask a couple of questions...

I leased through an independent consultant, so have not actually been to the dealership w/ the car yet. I'm going to be taking it to one closer to my house than the dealership my lease guy picked it up from. I've read in the manual and paperwork about the personalization settings...can anyone elaborate on those for me? Like when to do it, etc?

Also, other than the first 5K mile oil change, is there another initial visit that should be made (there was a 1K visit on my TSX).

One last question...about the tire monitor system. Is there anything I need to do w/ it to set it up? Or if there is a problem (like low tire), will it just tell me? I read the manual, but it was kind of confusing.

As soon as I take some pics, I'll post a couple. The tint job is nice.

Just take it to any dealership and they'll give you a pamhlet/set of settings that you'd like to get personalized, and they'll change them for you.

These settings include items such as when you touch the handle, you choose if you want only the driver door or all doors to unlock.; or when you turn off the engine, how long do the lights stay on (0, 15, or 30 seconds after the engine stops).
