On the issue of the tC vs. the IS, I guess the better way to express my view is that I think the tC is evocative of the IS, more than that the two cars actually look closely alike. Hard to explain, but when I catch a glimpse of a tC I have a momentary twinge of the feeling of spotting an IS. (I know that doesn't make much sense, but best I can describe it.) Maybe it''s the combination of the proportions of the cars and the shape of the headlights.

I agree they look nothing alike.

I have seen two 2007 camrys on the road. All I can say is they look like an upscale luxury car. Although it doesnt look like an IS it sure looks a bit "lexus like".

For $26k you can get a fully loaded camry.

I'm even thinking about SLIGHTLY getting one rather a base IS250. But I dont know if thats going to happen.

In a year the new Camry is going to be saturated here in So Cal.

To me, all Toyotas/Lexuses look similar, but different. That's a good thing, and a bad thing.
