Default Insurance Rates??

Just curious what everyone is paying for insurance. I'm checking around for quotes now.

Of course many variables with insurance, but will ask main factors. Trying to get a general idea.

Car: 250/350?
Age:
Location:
Rate:
Company:
Violations/Accidents:

Extra info if you know:
Deductible:
Coverage levels:

People should post which insurance companies they have. It may help a bit...

Cool

Great. Glad you are doing this survey. Just got my first insurance bill and it went up $25 a month which I think is a lot so maybe with a bunch of people posting we can get an idea of what people are paying and with whom. I'll post my info tonight after I get home from work.

I've been quoted about $1700 a year. In MA the state regulates insurance rates. I have one claim ~$1500 from 1 year ago and one ticket for doing 30 in a 25 (OUCH!) - school zone. Both of those occurred in CA, but now I am in MA.

Oh well. It's about $140 a month, on a group plan through work. I live right in the City though, so that makes a big difference compared to if I lived in the burbs. I'll get a discount at the end of the year for using transit though, around 8%.
