I got $1200 off and a free center console cover($400)

I got the silver interior and I didnt like the Silver lid, so they got me a black one.

I have to ask. What is a center console cover?

The dealer threw in a black armrest cover since he didn't like the silver interior.

Jason - if you are still on the board - where did you get your SGM in Austin - ordered it? It looks like if I really want it I may have to order. They have access to Gold, and Blue Onyx and Crystal White, Grey and maybe Red. All nice but not sure I want any of those. I'm burnt out on white cars for sure. I'm trying to decide whether to go with a backup color or order one and sit back and chill till July.

It's amusing to me becuase the salesman in Austin is trying his hardest to talk me out of SGM - he says the only people that have any interest in that color are very old people. He insists I come see it on another model before he would order it.

I really like it because it is not one of the traditional Lexus colors that I see everywhere - White, Silver, Black or Dk Grey. I wonder if it is a little too fadish though.

I had to order it, but because of the options, not the color. It's virtually the same as the GS Flint Mica, I think. I had blue on my previous car, so that was out for me. I haven't seen one in person, but the pictures look good. So far, everyone loves the SGM. The GS should give you a good idea, but PM me if you want to see the IS in person. I'm in North Austin, btw. It's a long wait for a custom order, though. It took 4 months from the day I ordered it. Oh, and I'm not old. At least not until tomorrow

I just got my is 250 with navi and all possible packages. Paid in cash full too. SHAZAM ! I couldnt see the point in a 350. The 250 is fast enough and I felt if I goot a 350 I should just go ahead and buy a gs. But the 350 is still a great car. Had to wait like 3 months for my car to come in in tungsten pearl.

All that said - I am thinking a 350 in Glacier with Black interior and a luxury package. No Nav or Stereo upgrade.

Want tint and XM - not sure if they have a version or will just offer me a Delphi unit.

That all being said - what is a fair price for this car? My dealer here in Austin only has 1 350 in Gold and no 250. Had to demo the shops loaner for the 250. So can I assume I will have to pay premium price. His scheduled deliveries next week are for Red and Black only.
Hi FastGirl...just be mindful that if you tint, you may very well have to mount your XM antenna on the body of your car, as opposed to the back ledge next to the 3rd brake light, to avoid poor signal strength with the tint.

Thanks a bunch for that info Foxberry. I would have never thought of that. While I love cars I am pretty typically female in that I just expect it all to work just the same...

Not TOO typical...you're going with the 350

Also, the XM won't be an add-on Delphi-type unit. It is a hardwired OEM receiver that is mounted in your trunk.
