Tint Newbie
So i relized today that my black onyx IS250 needs a tint.
What % you guys think? I wanted to get:
Front Windshield: 50%
Front Side: 35%
Back Side: 15%
Back Windshield: 45%
Should i go lighter on the back (no backup camera)?
Should i take it to the dealership, do they even do tints?
How much you pay for your tint?
If i take it to a regular shop, what should they take extra precaution to?

Don't take it to the dealership. They will most likely charge you an arm and a leg. Do some research on the best tint shops in your area.
I paid $180 for ceramic tint as described above.
Make sure your tint specialist knows that most people have found getting the side edges of the windows difficult, as they stay on the frame of the window and doesn't give enough space to go to the very edge with ease.

Three types of tint: one is dyed tint, which offers on heat protection, only shading. The second is metallic tint, which offers good heat protection, is a little more expensive, but can interfere with radio and navigation system signals/frequencies. The last is ceramic tint, which offers better heat protection, is most expensive, and does not affect radio/nav signals.
