im thinking about getin rid of my sidekick and get the Blackberry 7105t from t mobile, i want to kno if there are any problems w the fone syncing up with the car. any suggestions on a fone w bluetooth that can be used on t mobile(unlocked) and will sync up w the car would be cool.

 

My 7100t links up fine with the IS. I haven't tried to sync the directories yet, though.

 

it syncs up with the bluetooth but you won't be able to load your address book. it's a PITA to manually load each addy.

I've got the BB 7290. Bluetooth works great, but I can't import addy.. Nokias, select motorolas, and a few other phones are the only phones that can export addresses into the nav/bluetooth unit

 

My BB 7290 works great. The only thing weird is if you get in and out of the car in a short period of time, I have seen the connection look like it's good, but won't go through when you need it. All you have to do is turn the phone Bluetooth off and back on. It always relinks. All in all I'm very happy. I do wish I could upload my phone book. I have even tried with my iPaq 6515 with no success. I may ask to see if anyone has had any luck uploading a phone book yet. Later.....

 

I have the BB7520, works great! The phonebook will not transfer, I suspect because the BB uses the contacts list from Outlook.
The thing I have not figured out is why the caller ID works only certain times. At times it gives me the number, at times it does not, even if it is the same number calling.
