Default Condensation in Headlight

Any suggestions and help is very much appreciated, thanks in advance!

Anyhow, I have installed aftermarket HIDs for a week or two now. Everything was fine up until Friday night when I notice condensation in the passenger side headlight. I did the same thing I did on the other side, but the drivers side doesn't have any condensation. I followed the instruction on DIY HID install with the grommet exactly aside from where I mounted my ballasts.

So, my question is, how could it have gotten there? (it's been snowing here lately and I park indoors for the majority of the day and night) Also, is the only way to dry it by taking apart the entire housing, wipe it dry then seal it tight and make sure nothing is loose?

I've already checked my bulb fitting and the grommet and the dust cover, everything is in properly.

I'd wait for the weather to be sunny and extremely low humidity....with this headlight in as much sun as possible, open the headlight cover(s) and blow some warm air in there with a hair dryer. It shouldn't take long to dry it out under those conditions.

I'd try to take the grommet out and put a little silicon sealer around it and re-install.

you wont have to take apart the headlight, just take out your bulb and use a blow dryer to dry it out.........the reason for the condensation is that your not putting in the bulbs right, it feels like it went in right but im sure its not...............i had the same exact problem............

So where is the condensation? In the projectors? or in the Headlight housing?

Housing, not the projector.

like I said in post #2....but let me clarify - I wouldn't disassemble the headlite assy...just wait for a low humidity day and park the car so that headlight is in the sun - I'd wait at least an hour, then open the headlite covers and blow some warm/hot air in there. Maybe apply a little silicon sealant around the rubber grommet and re-install.

please let me know if this solves the problem...just in case I run into the same thing I realize you're in Calgary where its super cold, but it looks like Feb 25th will be kinda sunny.
