Default Side Marker Lights

Hey Guys,
Just wondering if anyone has installed side markers on their IS yet? I have always looked at mine and thought that it would really look nice but I havent seen any with them installed and I am curious if anyone has done it yet? If so can you post some pics and let me know how hard they were to install.

Thanks!

They would look nice, but I can't see drilling a hole in the side of my car...

I didn't think they looked all that good on the IS. I think they mess with the lines of the car. Apparently they come on the European models.

The car looks cleaner without them.

I'm actually surprised Lexus went to the trouble of NOT putting them on US-bound models. I'd think to save costs they'd give them to everyone - kudos to Lexus.

Toyota is not the only one that does this.

It all depends on the vehicle type and market.

Sidemarkers would be a very good safety feature here in the U.S IMO. Since people like to change lanes very quickly and sudden.

Why not just put in subtle turn signals in the side mirrors?!

who knows? I can say one thing for sure, it wasn't for any lack of room. These mirrors are HUGE!

LA people could seriously benefit from sidemarkers or mirror signals, especially on our 12+ lane freeways, everyone trying to be the daily road warrior.

my question is....WHAT ARE THOSE RIMS???

I like the IS without the sidemarkers. It makes it unique from the European and Japanese markets.
