Lexus picked up no awards, but here is MotorWeek's list of 2006 awardees:

Their car of the year is the Civic. Dubious is the 3-series as Best Jane Car.

New this year, the Most Jane Car award — named for Jane magazine — singles out the model that most appeals to women in their 20s.

 

I do see a lot of girls driving it around where I live...

 

With the 325i and 330i, perhaps -- but the vast majority of M3 owners I see are male.

 

Are we talking about the last version or the new version? I don' tthink the new M3 is our yet but it was more 50/50 on the last version, but more girl driving the new one.

Almost every automaker ends up with a "chick" car. The RX, for example, is Lexus' Jane Car...

Yeah... right up until you actually get near one and realize the panel gaps are wide enough to swallow a Miata.

True, but I see more women in the RX than the SC.

The Toyota Solara (a baby SC by design): that's a chick car...

 

I think that whole list is way offffffff.....imo

 

all 3 are, but % wise SC430 more than any other lexus
Even my g/f who loves the RX wont drive the SC430 cause its too girly

 

Is price an issue when rating these cars, come on now..
I do not know what they used to rate these but some of the cars are like 50k and some are 15k..
