Every 5000 miles. How much it costs will depend entirely on where the work gets done (i.e. I do mine myself, so it costs about 1/4 of what your avg dealer will charge).

Most dealers don't buy their oil in quarts, they have giant containers of it. But you don't need to use their oil....

My dealer tried to sell me 4 years prepaid maintenance. It included full service, flatbed pick up and delivery for $3995. I think you know what I told them. I don't think I spent a $1000 total in 4 years on my '02 IS.

from what i was told the 5k service is free, 10k is $172 and then they told me the 15k was like $450. I think ill end up doing my own oil changes. Ive done a few engine swaps so im sure the oil change cant be that hard. Although i did take my IS for the 5k since it was free.

Again, depends entirely on your dealer. Why not just call and ask?

Are you just trying to get up my backside? Too lazy to call? Yet you can sit in front of the computer for an hour straight asking the same question over and over?

It differs depending on the dealer because (gasp) different dealers charge different amounts of money for parts and labor.

It'll be between 30 and 80 bucks. How's that?

If I'm not mistaken, my dealer offers free maintenance up to 25,000 miles. After that you have to pay. I'll check to make sure, I couldn't believe that the first time I heard it.
