Lol, you guys should see the new 2007 Camry. Looks VERY similar to the new 250/350 and also comes w/the 3.5 in the V6 but w/only 268 hp w/ the 6 sp tranny. The SE has 18's the SAME EXACT SPOILER and looks even more like the Sonata in the rear but very IS'ish. Same smart entry w/push button start (on some models) and the front looks like a Mazda 6. Looks pretty good for the most part! Lol...We just got in some of the mini brochures. Wish I could take a pic for ya but you should be able to find it online. Oh and of course they also have a body kit for it too.

So many cars are looking so much alike these days. I've heard the new civics even have the dash lights similar to the new IS's.

I absolutely love the E46, but the E90 just strikes a very dissonant chord with me. I referred to it once as "BMW, brought to you by Honda" and I think that still seems fairly accurate. Something about their attempt to make it look more "curvy" and modern but still retain characteristics of the older BMW styling just doesn't sit well with me.

In contrast, the IS "goes the full mile" with the more modernized look and it just seems to fit better. Maybe it's just because it's not a BMW and so I'm not crying over what it could have looked like.

If it weren't for the interior and the far-superior electronics package on the IS (I'm a gadget junkie, what can I say?), I very well might have just bought an '05 330.

My vote goes to the "IS"...Definately more sporty and sleeker looking!

btw maximus, here ya go. a quick 30 min job.

This image is blasphemous! I can't believe you would defame the IS this way!

Good PS job (less the color) by the way!

I was talking to a friend today about how BMW is trying to keep true to their old design and just mold it down with curves like clay. Not good in my opinion.

Talking Unanimous Isn't it?

[/QUOTE]
There is a reason we all have an IS. See for yourself. Its styling is BOLD, new, and Sporty/Sexy from the ground up. The reliability factor is second to none. Add in the best dealership network in the business and the decision SHOULD be unanimous. We traded in the wifies 2002 330i for the IS. The experience we had with the 330i and the dealings we had with 3 different BMW dealerships was very disappointing to say the least.

i personally think the rear of the IS is a tad too tall. it's extremely low and hunkered at front, but rises quickly towards the rear making the back just look.. blocky and tall. i saw one parked to a bunch of other cars yesterday, all of them butt out, and the IS just looked so much taller back there. i hope they un-blocky and lower it down a bit for a sleeker coupe version.

I was never crazy about the rear of the IS350 but compared to the 330I's
rear it's way better.. The 330i's rear is just so bland...

Hmmm..why do the words "sow's ear" and "trying to make a silk purse out of" keep coming to mind.
