CD Text Does Not Display on my NAV
I have the NAV system and when I play a CD, none of the text displays (e.g., no artist name, song titles). I've tried 6 different CDs (both old and new releases). The dealership told me that it only works with "text" CDs. ???? Does anyone elso have that issue?
not all (in fact, hardly any) CD's have their cd text written on the CD. CD Text is an option for the artist/label to put on their CD's, and I imagine in the internet/downloading era, not many are willing to fork out the little extra to put the track/album/artist info on their CD's. So far I've put in 2 CD's that have the CD Text written on them and the nav system displays fine. You only have a problem if you know for a fact that the info is displayed on other stand alone (read: not your computer) cd players but not on the IS Nav system.
