Does anyone know if the new IS has a butterfly valve? I remember my old car had a valve that was connected to the intake airbox and it opens up when you engage the throttle. I remember it was there to restrict the noise. I removed it and let the engine make a more throaty note when it took in air. It was very easy to do and I sometimes wish the car made a more intimidating sound when I step on it. Atleast until a CAI is released.
